ANNE MOSSMAN

My pottery career started only recently, in 2002, after a sea change in lifestyle and location from a corporate Sydney based job to the relaxed climate of the Gold Coast. I have just completed Ceramics Distance Diploma at the ANU and may continue with study if further distance courses are developed. The image of the bowls made from tiny porcelain tiles was part of the assessment body for the diploma.

I enjoyed weekly classes at the Gold Coast Potters during 2003/4.

I have been a member of the Gold Coast Potters Association Committee in various roles including updating the content of this web site.

I was also involved with and enjoyed the association with the Gold Coast International Ceramic Art Award from 2003 - 2005.

Since finishing the ANU diploma in 2007 I have been developing coloured pattern and carved imagery in small porcelain bowls as well as new line of work - porcelain eggs - they have a wonderfully small canvas that can be intricately carved or decorated.
